First person to be injected with stem cells in the spinal cord. He is part of a FDA-approved clinical trial that is testing the safety of injecting stem cells into the spinal cord of patients Lou Gehrig's disease.

    That really ia an amazing procedure they constructed for delivering the stem cells to the spinal cord and I can only imagine the advances it would lead to in the future because so many people are affected by back and spinal cord injuries from work-related accidents or disease.
